What data we process
- Enquiries: name, company, email address, role and your message when you use the contact form or contact us by email or phone.
- Contract data: details of contracting parties and contact persons under an escrow agreement.
- Server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser information when you visit the website.

- Performing the escrow agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Statutory retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
- Secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Deposits and blockchain
Deposited software is stored encrypted. The blockchain holds only technical status information about the escrow, never personal data and never source code.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. Your language choice is stored locally in your browser.
Retention
If no contract is concluded, we delete enquiries after 12 months at the latest. Contract data is kept for the term of the contract and the statutory retention periods (usually 7 years). Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
Recipients
We only share data where needed to perform the contract, for example with contracting parties, hosting and backup providers (Mount10 AG, Switzerland; EU adequacy decision), or where required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Contact office@kryptos.at.
